The Bristol-based stop-motion animators are back with a new trailer for their upcoming film, Early Man.
The Wallace and Gromit creators have decided to go prehistoric with their latest film, and they’ve scored a host of British talent for the voice cast: Fantastic Beasts star Eddie Redmayne is taking the leading role as Dug the caveman, and Avengers star Tom Hiddleston will, of course, be playing the villainous Lord Nooth. We’ll also be hearing other big-name talents, including Timothy Spall, Maisie Williams, Selena Griffiths, Johnny Vegas, and Mark Williams.
The story follows Dug and his faithful warthog companion, Hognob, as they take on Lord Nooth and his Bronze Age city to save their home. Nick Park, who directed Wallace and Gromit, Creature Comforts and Chicken Run is back in the director’s chair, so we can absolutely expect the eccentric humour and brilliantly stylistic animation that is a beloved staple for Aardman.
Watch the new teaser below, and catch Early Man when it comes to UK cinemas in January 2018.
