If anyone was lucky enough to witness to incredible comedy that was Tucker and Dale VS Evil then you’ll certainly be excited by the prospect of another horror comedy by the same director, this time starring comedy actor Adam Scott and Marvel almnus Evangeline Lilly.
Tucker and Dale VS Evil was a raucous horror comedy that saw Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine as a pair of hillbillies who witnessed a bunch of teenagers accidentally kill themselves horribly leading them to look like they were killing the teenagers. It was absolutely ridiculous and absolutely hilarious. Director Eli Craig is now returning to this familiar territory with a brand new feature that will star Adam Scott and Evangeline Lilly.
Scott will be very well known, more in the US, as a lead in Parks and Recreation but also in films like Krampus and Black Mass. Lilly will, of course, be known for her role in Lost and Marvel’s Ant-Man. But these aren’t the only big names to be joining the movie. They’re going to be joined by Scrubs star Donald Faison, Clancy Brown (Warcraft, Hail, Caesar!) and the return of Tyler Labine. If we can somehow get Alan Tudyk involved I think that’s a bingo.
The film, Little Evil, will be made for Netflix and will see Gary (Scott) marrying Samantha (Lilly) who becomes step-father to her six-year-old son (Owen Atlas). And, classically, it turns out that the little boy is actually the Antichrist.
Little Evil is set to hit Netflix some time next year so keep an eye on our Netflix Fix feature for a future review.
