Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is set to land in cinemas in the middle of November this year. Although we won’t be seeing any familiar characters from the Harry Potter world, we can rest assured that we’ll be seeing enough magic to keep us happy. And now we can look forward to a sequel next year.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them has always going to be a trilogy so the announcement of a sequel isn’t really a surprise. What is a surprise is that it’s going to be coming out in two years time. It looks like we’ll be getting bi-annual releases for this magical series.
J.K. Rowling, author of the book and original Harry Potter series, is currently working on the script for the film and director David Yates will continue his current run with the film series since directing Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. We have no word at the moment for any of the current cast returning but we can safely assume that Redmayne will reprise the leading role.
Fantastic Beats and Where to Find Them will apparate into cinemas on 18th November with the sequel following November 2018.
