JK Rowling, screenwriter on the new Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, has revealed plans for a more extensive film series.
At an event at Cineworld's Empire IMAX cinema on Leicester Square celebrating the film's upcoming release, the author revealed that the plan is to extend it into a five-film series rather than a trilogy.
Rowling said: "We always knew it was going to be more than one movie, and we said a trilogy as a placeholder. But I’ve done the plotting properly and I’m pretty sure it’s going to be five movies."
What this plot is, well, we'll just have to wait and see. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is currently slated for release on the 18th of November.
