20th Century Fox have released a new poster for the much awaited Kingsman sequel - and it contains a pretty big reveal.
The new poster, released on Twitter earlier today, confirms almost completely that we are going to see Colin Firth return for the sequel, with his name right at the top of the cast list.
This might not be a huge surprise to some of you - a poster was released back in September for the sequel, with the quote: “Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated”, hinting pretty early on that a return could be on the cards for Firth. With this new poster, though, we have it confirmed in writing.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle will see director Matthew Vaughn and screenwriter Jane Goldman reunited after working together on the unexpected hit, Kingsman: The Secret Service. We will also be seeingTaron Egerton, Mark Strong, Sophie Cookson and Edward Holcroft reprising their roles for the new film.
For this film, we will be seeing Egerton’s gentleman spy Eggsy joining forces with the Kingsman’s US counterparts, the Statesmen, to put an end to the plans of a new global threat, Poppy (Julianne Moore). Joining the cast is an impressive list of names: Jeff Bridges, Channing Tatum, Halle Berry, Pedro Pascal and Elton John. Yes, the Elton John.
We’ll be finding out what really happened to Firth when Kingsman: The Golden Circle arrives in cinemas this September.
