With the much anticipated release of Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 coming up fast, a brand new trailer and poster have been released.
The trailer (below) is just what we were hoping for from a full-length trailer: great music, some great one-liners, and some truly adorable Baby Groot. Even Gamora gets the lines she missed out on in the teaser.
(Also, Nebula’s new arm, which may or may not literally be an egg beater.)
It appears that the cast and crew have really taken on board what fans of the first film loved, from the awesome visuals to the constantly-squabbling main team, to make what should be a worthy follow-up to the superhero film we all loved.
Speaking of awesome visuals, get a look at this new poster:
With an explosion of galactic colour and the team pulling their most heroic poses, the poster is really a treat for the eyes.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 sees the dysfunctional hero team of the first film on a new mission that requires them to team up with Michael Rooker’s Yondu after his Reavers revolt. We’ll also be seeing the return of Karen Gillan’s Nebula, as well as some new faces in Pom Klementieff's Mantis and Kurt Russell's Ego, a living planet who can assume human form.
The film will be released in the UK on 28 April, a few days ahead of the US release date on 5 May.
