Tickets for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story have gone on sale, accompanied by a new teaser trailer that aims to bring the menace.
Just like they did last year, Disney and Lucasfilm have announced the advance sale of movie tickets ahead of the next Star Wars film's winter release. Early reports say the servers may have been overwhelmed just like last time by the incredible level of demand, but hold out and you may just be able to nab yourself a seat or two for what's looking to be yet another great opening weekend.
With this news also comes the latest in a run of teasers, this time focusing on the danger and menace our heroes are set to face down on their daring mission:
To recap, just in case you've been living under a rock for the last year or so: Rogue One focuses on a rag-tag group of rebels as they try to steal the plans for the first Death Star, putting the as-yet untold (apart from in some de-canonised video games) story behind their arrival in Princess Leia's hands prior to the opening crawl of A New Hope. The film is set to kick off a whole slew of Star Wars spin-off films, including Lord & Miller's upcoming Han Solo feature.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards, and stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, Jiang Wen, and (breath) Forest Whitaker. It's set for a likely-sold-out December 15th release.
