The second trailer has been released for Fences, a period family drama starring Denzel Washington and Viola Davis.
Fences, set in the 1950's, sees Washington as a father raising his family amidst the fraught race relations of the period, and coming to terms with the directions his son is choosing in life.
As you can see from the trailer above, Washington is also directing, and the film is shaping up to be a real Oscar contender, with what look to be some knockout performances from the leads. Fences is based on the 1983 play of the same name by playwright (and now screenwriter) August Wilson, which was part of a series of plays set in Pittsburgh that explored the changing African-American experience.
Fences is currently set for release here in the UK on 10th February, 2017.
