Shane Black's reboot of the classic 80's interstellar bounty hunter is adding some impressive names to it cast, adding TV star Sterling K. Brown to the mix.
Sterling K Brown will be familiar to a lot of people as one of the primary cast members of The People Vs O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. In the series he plays Christopher Darden, the prosecutor of O.J. Simpson. Outside of TV we don't have an awful lot of big cinema hits, but we soon will as he cast as N'Jobu in Black Panther.
Shane Black (Iron Man 3) is set to reboot the classic Predator franchise in this new film, saying he wishes to make the Predator movies a big event again. Brown is set to be cast as a government agent who needs the help of some military men to fight the infamous bounty hunting beastie. At the moment we have Boyd Holbrook (Narcos, Logan) and Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight) cast as the leading military men along with Olivia Munn as a scientist and a surprise casting from comedy actor Keegan-Michael Key who joins the alien-fighting squad.
The Predator has yet to start rolling cameras, but Black is scheduled to begin filming sometime February 2018 so we'll likely be getting an early 2019 release.
