Tom Hardy and Channing Tatum are reportedly in early talks to co-star in upcoming crime thriller Triple Frontier.
Triple Frontier is to be an action thriller dealing with organised crime in and around the fraught border zone between Paraguay, Argentina, and Brazil. Originally developed by screenwriter Mark Boal and director Kathryn Bigelow, who previously worked together on The Hurt Locker, Triple Frontier was left unmade for a few years as Boal and Bigelow left to work on Zero Dark Thirty.
Triple Frontier has since been passed into the hands of J.C. Chandor, the writer and director behind 2014's Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain-lead crime drama A Most Violent Year.
Early talks naturally mean that we must take this news with a grain of salt, of course, but this writer is hopeful - both actors have proved themselves to be eminently watchable. We'll just have to wait and see.
