If it's one thing Michael Bay can guarantee, it's a bunch of giant robots punching each other and blowing stuff up. So, we have here the trailer for the 5th instalment of the explosive Transformersseries.
We finally have the trailer to the much shouted-about (most of the shouting coming from Michael bay) Transformers: The Last Knight. Take a moment to watch the trailer below, because there's a bloody lot to talk about.
OK so. Where do we starts? First off it's very standard for what it is; a slow-tempo rendition of a popular song, in this case The Flaming Lips' 'Do You Realise', showing grand scenes and landscapes before descending into some dub-step-ish action shots of explosions and machines. Really, what else would we expect?
But we see a lot of stuff here. Several battles spanning from Arthurian fighting to Nazi's being blown up (woo!), so we're getting an idea of a rather expansive timeline in action. We have Sir Anthony Hopkins narrating the whole trailer, telling us stuff we already knew from the previous movies and proclaiming "Optimus Prime is gone" with a shot of him floating away in space. I wonder if George Clooney bumped into him after floating away in Gravity.
We see all our favourite actors here with Mark Wahlberg and Josh Duhamel taking the macho lead along with newcomer Isabel Moner who seems ready to kick ass. Bumble Bee is in full action too but then oddly attacked by Optimus Prime (who seems less 'gone' now), so that's a thing that sparks a little intrigue.
Also there was a bloody three headed dragon transformer at the start. OK, then. It's possible that this is the Decepticon called Scourge, but that remains to be seen just yet.
Transformers: The Last Knight is going to explode into UK cinemas on 23rd June 2017.
